At Lee Wick Farm, we can hold your chosen dates if you specifically request it.
We can reserve them for up to 48 hours. After this period, the dates will be released unless you confirm your booking. To hold dates, please contact us directly via info@leewickfarm.co.uk.

For a smooth booking process, we recommend confirming your stay as soon as possible to secure your preferred dates.

At Lee Wick Farm, payment is straightforward:

Booking Payments:

• For glamping and touring bookings, we request a 15% deposit at the time of booking.

• For cottage bookings, a 25% deposit is required.

• The remaining balance is due 28 days before arrival.

• If you book within 28 days of your stay, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Security / Damage Deposits:

• A pre-authorisation hold is placed on the card used for your booking as a refundable security/damage deposit.

• If the card is declined, we will contact you to provide alternative payment details.

• Any breakages, damage, or additional cleaning costs may be deducted from this deposit.

• Noise or anti-social behaviour complaints could result in a partial or full loss of the deposit, and in extreme cases, you may be asked to leave.

• The amount held for each property and the release process is detailed in our Terms & Conditions.

We recommend reviewing these details carefully before confirming your booking to avoid surprises.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking at Lee Wick Farm, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us in writing:

• Email us with your full name and booking number. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

2. Booking within 28 days of arrival:

• Any request to move or cancel a booking within 28 days of arrival is treated as a cancellation. Unfortunately, the booking cannot be moved.

3. Booking outside 28 days of arrival:

• You may reschedule your booking to another date for a £10 administration fee, or choose to cancel.

• If only a deposit has been paid: The deposit is non-refundable.

• If full payment has been made:

  • If we can re-sell your booking, your balance will be refunded minus the deposit.

  • If we cannot re-sell your booking, the entire amount is non-refundable.

4. Travel insurance:

• We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any cancellations. Covid-19 is now typically an insurable risk.

No — we do not meet guests on arrival. Most guests prefer our simple, free check-in arrangements, which allow you to start enjoying your stay immediately.

Please ensure you bring your booking confirmation email, which you receive after paying your final balance. It contains detailed instructions on how to access your accommodation. We recommend printing it out, as you may not always be able to access it on your phone.

If you have not received your confirmation email, please email, call, or text us before leaving home so we can assist you.

No formal check-in is required. Simply bring your booking confirmation email (printed or accessible on your phone), which contains detailed instructions on how to access your accommodation.

Check-in and check-out times:

• Glamping and cottages: Check-in from 3:30 PM, check-out by 10:30 AM.

• Camping and touring pitches: Check-in from 1:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM (midday).

Upon arrival, head straight to your accommodation and follow the instructions in your confirmation email for access.

Cottages:

• Available to book all year round.

Glamping accommodation (Lushnas, Armadillas, CargoPods, MegaPods):

• Can be booked any time of the year.

• Some units may be temporarily closed for maintenance.

Camping and touring (Secret Garden and touring paddock):

• Generally open from May to the end of October, subject to weather conditions.

Yes — both cottages at Lee Wick Farm have WiFi available.

Glamping accommodation (Lushnas, Armadillas, CargoPods, MegaPods) does not currently have WiFi, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a digital detox and fully relax in the natural surroundings.

We encourage glamping guests to disconnect and unwind, but you can always use mobile data in most areas if needed.

Yes — parking is available for all our accommodations, but spaces vary depending on the unit:

Cottages:

• The Cart Lodge: Parking for 3–4 cars.

• Stable Cottage: Parking for up to 2 cars.

Glamping accommodation:

• Purple CargoPod & MegaPods: One car parking space next to the unit.

• Armadillas, Lushnas & Green CargoPod: Parking is a short walk away down a gravel track. Green trolleys are provided to help move your belongings easily.

Camping & touring pitches:

• Parking is a very short walk from the camping area. Trolleys are provided to make transporting your gear easier.

We aim to make arrival and departure as smooth as possible for all guests.

Yes — we welcome dogs at Lee Wick Farm, subject to breed and size restrictions:

Accommodation limits:

• Cottages & CargoPods: Up to 2 dogs per unit.

• MegaPods, Armadillas & Lushnas: 1 small to medium dog per unit.

• Camping & touring pitches: Up to 2 dogs per pitch.

Charges:

• An additional fee applies per dog, per stay.

Rules for dogs on-site:

• Dogs must not be left alone in any accommodation.

• If your dog wears a muzzle, they are not permitted on site.

• Dogs are discouraged from being on furniture.

• Dogs should be kept on leads at all times around the farm, horses, and other guests.

• Any dog waste must be cleaned up promptly; failure to comply may affect your damage deposit.

Yes — we provide one travel cot and one high chair per cottage.

• The Cart Lodge: Additionally, you will need to bring your own stair gates if required.

• Glamping accommodation (Lushnas, Armadillas, CargoPods, MegaPods): Travel cots and high chairs are not provided.

Yes — Lee Wick Farm offers both adult-only and family-friendly accommodation:

Adult-only accommodation:

• The Lushna Suites (numbers 10, 11 and 12) and the Armadillas are for adult-only stays, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment.

Family-friendly accommodation:

• Our cottages, CargoPods, Lushna Petites, Lushna Mezzanine, and MegaPods are suitable for both adults and children.

Please check each accommodation page for specific age restrictions or family-friendly features before booking.

Large log fired hot tubs:

• CargoPods: Each has a four-person log-fired hot tub.

• Stable Cottage: Private four–five person log-fired hot tub.

• Lushna Mezzanine No. 1: Private four-person log-fired hot tub.

Smaller hot tubs (two-person log-fired):

• Lushna Petites: Units 2–9

• Lushna Suites: Units 10–12

• Armadillas: 3 units

Booking a hot tub:

• During booking, simply tick the hot tub option in the “Extras” section.

• If you have already booked, you can add a hot tub afterwards by:

Yes — a few of our properties are suitable for guests with limited mobility:

Cottages:

• Stable Cottage: All on one level, ideal for guests with mobility needs.

• The Cart Lodge: Features a slope to the front door and a downstairs bedroom with en-suite. Both cottages are rated Mobility Level 2 (M2).

Glamping accommodation:

• Green CargoPod: Access via a ramp, with the unit mostly on one level. There is a small step into the shower room.

The nearest pubs are in St Osyth, a short drive or 20–30 minute walk from Lee Wick Farm:

Pubs:

• The Red Lion: Dog-friendly in the bar area, with a part grass, part courtyard garden at the rear. Small car park at the back, or walk from the farm along Lee Wick Lane, past the boatyard and Priory, then straight at the crossroads. Serves home-cooked pub meals.

• The Kings Arms: Not dog-friendly. Car park at the rear, serving good food — call ahead to book a table.

Shops:

• Nisa Store: Located on Point Clear Road (turn left out of Lee Wick Lane, 400m on the left).

• Other options in St Osyth village: Two convenience stores and a pharmacy for essentials.

These amenities are convenient for guests looking for food, supplies, or a casual drink during their stay.

Yes — you can arrange for a food shop to be delivered directly to your cottage.

Important details:

• You must be at the cottage to receive the delivery.

• Deliveries should be scheduled after 3:30 PM on the day of arrival, as cottages are not accessible before this time.

• We are unable to accept deliveries on your behalf.

There are several beautiful beaches near Lee Wick Farm:

Closest beach:

• A sand and pebble spit is a short walk down Lee Wick Lane, through the nature reserve.

• Dogs must be on leads through the reserve, but can run free on the beach.

• Check tide times, as the car park area can flood during particularly high tides.

Other nearby beaches:

• Miles of coastline stretch from St Osyth through Clacton-on-Sea to Walton-on-the-Naze.

• Holland-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea are lovely family-friendly options.

• Dogs are only allowed on some beaches from May to the end of September, so check signs on the promenade.

• Both Clacton and Walton have piers and attractions for children and adults alike.

These beaches offer a mix of quiet natural spots and traditional seaside entertainment, suitable for families, dog owners, and walkers.

Yes — fishing is available for serious anglers, this is off-site at the farm’s two reservoirs, approximately a 10-minute drive away.

Yes — Lee Wick Farm is primarily an arable farm, but guests will also see a variety of animals:

On-site animals:

• Farm dogs: Our friendly dogs roam the farm.

• Resident ducks: Tom and Barbara can often be seen near the pods and cottages.

• Muntjacs, hares and rabbits.

• Horses and ponies: Privately owned horses and ponies are kept in the livery yard by the cottages. They graze in surrounding paddocks or are exercised in the ménage.

Guest guidelines:

• Please do not enter the horse paddocks or ménage, and do not feed or pet the horses.

• Enjoy watching them graze and play safely from a distance.

• Keep dogs on leads at all times around the farm and horses for everyone’s safety.

Accessing your glamping accommodation is easy with self-check-in:

• Your final confirmation email includes directions. Print it or have it accessible on your phone.

• Around 3:20 PM on the day of arrival, you will receive two text messages:

  1. Key safe code for your property.

  2. ‘What3Words’ coordinates for the property parking area.

• Arrive any time after 3:30 PM. Enter the code into the key safe, twist the central dial, open the safe and retrieve your keys.

• When departing, please return the keys to the safe and lock it.

• No formal check-in or check-out is required. Departure is by 10:30 AM.

This system ensures a smooth, hassle-free arrival and departure for your stay.

No — currently, none of the glamping units have WiFi.

This allows you to unplug and enjoy a digital detox, making the most of your time in the great outdoors.
